10/06/08 LEGS
Squats (boots)- 135x10 155x8 225x6 265x3 295x1 315x6 325x5 330x6 (pr) (belt) Goodmornings (wide stance) 275x6 280x6 (pr) Snatch grip DL (standing on 3 inch blocks) 295x6 305x6 (pr) SSQ Standing calf raise- 360x8 370x8 380x8 Donkey calf raise- 135x12 180x12 180x12 *good day good intensity and focus. Its been awhile since I did squats and only my 2nd time with boots but I still go deep enough and had good form. The weight will go up if I am patient. Everytime I do goodmornings I hit a PR which is great. First time doing snatch grip dl standing on 3 inch blocks which I really like and will raise the weight substantially next time. Progress is moving up steadily right now and I cant complain. Overall I believe I am the strongest I have ever been. I am getting noticably leaner and denser too. I attribute that mostly to lowering my carbs and upping my healthy fats. This routine is a Max-ot routine plus 1 day a week of events. I am really liking it because I feel fresh and focused on training every single day. I dont feel I have taken any sets to true positive failure since I started this last week though. Now that I have completed each day once I feel the next week of training will be even better and I will be able to push myself even harder now that I have reintroduced all of the exercises.

OH Press- (hang clean 1st) 85x12,10 120x6 150x3 180x1 195x6 200x5 1 arm oh db press- 75x6 (pr) 80x6 (pr) 1 arm db side lateral- 65x6 70x5 BB standing wrist- 205x10 215x8 225x10 BHB standing- 185x8 195x7 195x7 Plate pinches- 75x20sec 75x21sec * My groin was ridicoulously sore today. So sore I couldnt power clean the oh press so I did hang cleans. Then after my 200x5 set the pain on my left side hurt so bad I could barely walk. Very annoying. I managed to finish the session but had to cut out my 3rd work set of Oh press because there was no way Id be able to clean the weight and it was not worth the risk.

My lower back didnt feel right and energy sucked today. Rack pulls were the only highlight of the day. That was my only real intensity today.
