Default Exercise for the week of 3/20/2005!

This week we will target the forearms extensors and flexors.

The exercise: Incline bench cable rope curls.

Place an incline bench facing a low cable. Set the bench to a 45 degree angle.

Fasten the rope attachment to the low cable and lay back on the bench.

Curl the rope towards your body, with your hands in the neutral position. As you lower the weight, you should feel an intense stretch across the entire forearm complex.

Perform 3-5 sets for 10 reps.

i thought about this exercise a while ago but never got around to doing em. i have done neutral grip cable rope curls standing and indeed my forearms burned, but using an incline bench with its increased ROM will make then catch fire. will definately add these during my next forearm session!

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Palms facing each other is a neutral or "prone" position.`

I do these everyone now and then. I usually just do Cable Hammer Curls on the cable though.

I like to have at least on cable motion, usually to concentrate on peak, but occasionally forearms. (Animal Curls OWN!)
