Default Insulin Spikes (any risks?)

Diabetes runs in my family and I'm wondering if there's any risks with the insulin spikes that we try to achieve after a workout. Maybe this is a dumb question...but I'm learning quite a bit from this site on how the body works...so maybe this will clear up some misconceptions I'm having. Thanks.

It's not a dumb question at all. However, as ABC is not designed to directly address medical issues, I'd suggest that you see your physician before doing anything questionable in the context of your diabetic (or potential diabetic) condition.

Sound Advice.

Well, I don't know why what ABC says would hurt you; from what I can tell ABC has always advocated that the only insulin spikes we should have are PWO. If you're having multiple spikes a day, it would most likely become a problem.

just my 2 cents I can be wrong

I'd imagine you'd be really insulin sensitive after a workout, so yeah.
