Computer display to TV, help plz comp gurus
Hey guys, I got an S-video plug for my Geforce fx 5700 256mb with tv out and it is working fine. But I was wondering if it was possible to extend the TV onto the monitor so I don't have to switch from one to the other? MY buddy has an ATI and he can do just that while I have to switch from one mode to the other, would be cool if i could do work while we have movies in the background.

You have to have a TV tuner in your computer for you to get TV signals.
ATI has a model called ATI Wonder and they have built in TV tuner.

yeah that option isnt there but it is on my buddies laptop any ideas? [/ QUOTE ] Laptops usually come with dual monitor capability. If you don't have it then your video card doesn't support it. Not much you can do but get a video card that supports multi monitors.

Update the graphic drivers..this may give you more options to play around with.
http://www.nvidia.com/page/home Nvidia are always updating drivers and adding features/better support etc. |
