I semi-recently started to do the high intensity training method (HIT), for those unfamiliar, a very very simple explanation is you go to the gym every 3 days, every exercise you do usually consists of 1 set which you do to complete failure.
I must say I have been enjoying this method since I started, I am seeing amazing results. I want to start taking creatine, I have taken it before when I was going to the gym 5 days a week, lifting nearly all of those days, and saw good results. With the HIT method should I still take the creatine on off days, or just take it on the days that I would be lifting? I dont want to waste it. Or see inadequate results. Thanks in advance. |

I am fairly confident in my training style, the guy that got me hooked, never had a workout where he didnt either increase reps or weight in 7 months, and that was a very simple explanation.

HIT is inferior to a good training split in every aspect.
Your creatine question should be answered in great detail in the creatine sticky in the nutrition section.

I highly disagree, and my workout isnt needed to be questioned, im in no way attempting to go against your methods, I know what works and apparently you are confident in what you do. That is fine, and I read through the creatine sticky, I am familiar with how creatine is normally ran, my workouts are rather different than common workouts that the creatine sticky is directed towards.
Thus my post and question about if anyone knows how to properly take the creatine while doing HIT. |

wow i have never heard of this method. Can this even be called a method. Its the weakest workout routine i have ever heard of. You need to seriously consider split training. I could get results going to the gym once a week, but i can also get better results going 4-7 times a week. Just because you are seeing some results does not mean that it is optimal for you.

Heh once again that is a very abstract version, I go to the gym 3 times a week, so I guess you can call it a 3day split. The way you train is very demanding. I used to do a 5day split, and I did see results I went from a 185 bench to a 345. I lost 50 lbs and I enjoyed it, but near the end I noticed I couldnt seem to gain anymore.
My friend that got me hooked on HIT, increases reps and/or weight each time he goes to the gym, he now benches over 425 lbs from 225 when he started a little over a year ago. I am in no way saying your splits are bad, and HIT is very demanding on your body, I guess I should have described it more than an abstract, but my main concern with the post wasnt to ask if HIT was good it was to ask what increments of creatine should I take while on HIT, or I guess I should say a 3 day split. Thanks. |

Im not positive but i would think your creatine dosage would be like any other:
off day: 5g-morning Training day: 5g-morning, 5g-post workout |
