Which is not good to take with ZMA?
And doesn't cottage cheese have calcium? Is it ok to take my ZMA and then eat cottage cheese 45 minutes later? |

Look for a very similar question to this posted today.
Calcium competes with Zinc absorption. And yes, 45 minutes is enough. 45-60 minutes. Also read the ZMA review.

well, hmm, maybe neither... when I donate blood, I have to stop taking my zinc supplements as it makes my iron count too low and iron and zinc compete with each other. I usually take iron and zinc a couple days before hand together as C helps with the absorption of iron...
Upon further research, zinc or C don't seem to interfere with the absorption of the other, but for maximum benefit of C, I'd take it other than with ZMA |

yes 45 minutes is sufficient for your ZMA is to be fully absorped. the problem of competition for absorption sites between zinc and calcium only arises when consumed together....even then it has to be high doses of zinc to really disturb the absorption of calcium.
vitamin C is water soluble, so shouldn't really affect zinc or calcium absorption. although i'm not entirely sure on that one.
