i'm not sure what it is but the ingerdients contain barley so i guess it can't be that bad.
but, what's wrong with eating oats raw? yum yum!

That looks pretty decent to me. 37g of all complex carbs, can't beat that.

I agree with Col. Raw oats really aren't that bad after you develop a taste for them. The real plus is that you have to eat them at a slower rate which revs up your metabolism. Instead of eating a cup of cooked oats all at once, eat a mouthful or two with a protein shake and then nibble on the rest throughout the morning or whenever. I honestly believe my body is responding to this method of consumption a lot better than eating a cup of cooked oats for a meal.

What's the problem? Add oats and water then microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. It's not that hard.

This is a quote from Nutmeg in a post a few down:
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You need to look really closely at the ingredients as it would most likely contain preservatives. That and look for "whole oat" [/ QUOTE ] Whole Oat It means that the grain contains all three parts of the grain: germ, endosperm and bran. The whole grain provides maximum health benefit. [/ QUOTE ] So see, its not just the carbs you want, but its also the benifits of oatmeal itself. EAT YOUR OATMEAL! |
