I don't have a set split such as monday i do this and tuesday i do that its more of a series....
Day 1 = Shoulders/Traps/Back Wk Out A Day 2 = Biceps/ Forearms Wk Out A Day 3 = Chest/ Triceps Wk Out A Day 4 = Rest Day 5,6,7 = Repeat Days 1-3, except Wk Out B for all * Abs every other workout day * Legs once every 1-2 weeks depending on time and energy * I also alternate between two workouts for each day I'm 17, 5'8 and weigh 142 pounds and primarily am just looking to get a bigger and better looking body. I'm not sure if that will help you review my split, but that's my basic goal at the moment. I think your bi can be quite exhausted on day 2.
Switch back and forearms with each other. On day one you will not have the power to do back good enough at least I wouldn't, you can also do traps every other week with back and the other week with shoulders. But you definiatly need to have the legs on their own day otherwise they wont be done. Maybe this would be good for you if you don't follow and day scheme: day 1: shoulder/traps/forearms, every second wo traps with back day 2: back/bi day 3: rest day 4: chest/tri day 5: legs day 6: rest day 7: start over This is what I would do.

yeah way two much in too short of a period. you probably arent recovering quick enough either. I mean you are only 142, if you want to get bigger you should def rest each bodypart (especially the big ones ex: legs back chest) more often. If you are lifting each bodypart twice a week, I feel like you are just overtraining, and all that means is that you are wasting time. I mean unless you are takin some illegal !@#$%^&*, I wouldnt lift each bodypart twice a week.

Lol Diesel. No just the regular supplments Whey, Creatine, HMB to get started again and then switching to ZMA, but thats for a different post anyways.
Thanxx for the split Jlong your right, at less I have a schuldued day for legs i'll probaly put them off and to go along with Diesel I have had a little trouble sleeping and a couple guys at the gym said it might be due to overtraining. I guess in this case less is more thanx guys ...Later |
