High Protein Diets can Hurt Kindeys

Can someone explain why this is incorrect/correct? I'm hoping I'm not walking my self into bad kidneys by taking all this protein.

If you drink enough water and your kidneys are normal currently you should be fine, I belive the concerns stem from people who already have problems with there kidneys. Drinking enough water is very important though.

Is there a difference between the protein in meat, and the protein that comes from whey as well?

And could the fact that a lot of the protein they are eating comes from food that is very different then what we eat. People in those studies probable ate a lot of processed food?
