Default squat problem

when i do regular sqauts my groin or rather upper inner thigh on my left leg starts to hurt. It feels like a tendon or vein is about to pop. It really sucks because it keeps me from doing more reps or a higher weight. Anyone know what my problem is?

An inguinal hernia would be on the lowest part of your stomach on one side or the other. If it's something down in your leg, it's not a hernia. Don't forget, squatting places a tremendous load on your adductors, or the "groin" muscles. See if you can get it warm with some kind of high rep movement, then try to stretch it out. You may need to give it a week off and come back to squatting.

Ya so I guess its not a hernia. I would say its lower groin area on the left side. I usually just start off with a weight that I can do around 14reps with. So I should start with a lighter weight, or take a break from squats right?

I went to play frisby the other yesterday with my roomate, and after 15 minutes I could barely walk. Do you guys think i probably pulled my groin, and if so how long does this usually take to heal if i dont do squats for awhile?

I have the exact same problem. You have to reeeeeeeeeally stretch it. Sometimes it works and then sometimes you'll still get the pain. I think its more of a flexibility problem.
