Did my back today.
I started out with some moderatly light deadlifts. 135-180 pounds, 10-20 rep scheme, 4 sets. I like throwing these in at the beginning! I supersetted the last set with some hyperextensions. Pullups: 3 sets, mixed grips. Following that i did 4 sets pullups Supersetted with Pulldowns. These really destroyed my lats! Next was Cable Rows supersetted with wide grip pulldowns! Another destructive superset for my LATS! After this i did some more cable rows, including a triple dropsett on my last set. Brutal! Then i moved upstairs and did some machine Lat pulldowns. 3 sets, 130-150 pounds, 7-10 reps. After the pain my lats were in, i moved on to some DB pullovers to finish them off. These did the job and more.. i had a tough time making my PWO shake! I also threw in some calf raises on the stairs by the parking lot... HAHAHA! Anyways, ill be hitting up a biceps/triceps workout tomarrow (assuming my tricep DOMS are over). Ill double up the set count too! (as promised!)

BICEPS/SHOULDERS TONIGHT!
I was planning on doing biceps/triceps... but my triceps are still expieriencing some pretty good DOMS from earlier this week! So, on with the workout: BB Curls! 50X10 50X8 35X10 35X8 30X10 30X8 --SUPERSETTED WITH-- UPRIGHT ROWS! 35X12 35X11 35X10 35X10 30X12 30X8 This was basically like one giant set. I didnt rest between each superset, as you can see by the dramatic drop in weight! These really messed up my biceps! LATERAL RAISES! 3 Sets, light weight. Get those shoulders warmed up! Incline Hammer Curls! 25X10 25X8 25x6 20X8 20X5 (Added Droppsetts to these last 2 sets!) 20x4 --SUPERSETTED WITH-- LATERAL RAISES! 10X15 10X15 10X14 plus static hold 10X12 plus static hold Cable Curls! 4 Sets! After these, my biceps were really destroyed and i moved on to my shoulders! DB Press 30X15 30X14 35X10 35X10 --SUPERSETTED WITH-- MORE LATERALS! 4 MORE SETS! CONCENTRATION CURLS! 3 SETS! DUMBELL SHRUGS! 50X20 60X15 60X12 + static hold! 60X10 DROPSSET TO 40X20 Great workout. I wanted to move on to other things but the gym closed on me! Now im off to eat some more... You said the dreaded P word! What do you mean by plateau buddy? Have your gains stopped or just slowed down? For how long?

[/ QUOTE ] Well it seems my body is content at 150ish, and thinks it doesnt need to grow anymore. Ive upped my calories 500 a day, bringing the total to around 4750, and still no gains. I was making steady progress up untill this point... My workouts are more intense than ever (volume up, more shocking techniques, different splits/exersizes..) Any advice? Im thinking of loading creatine and taking some ZMA along with the extra measures im currently taking... PLATEAUS SUCK! what should i do?

Well, remember that even if you're adding a pound a week you're still doing well.
But, if you've stalled for more than a couple of weeks, I'd say try doing a bit of a strength program, aiming for heavier weights with reps in the 4-6 range, easy on the shocks, moderate on sets. It's about the opposite of what you are doing now, so it's sure to bring on the pain in a whole new way. Try it for a couple of weeks just to screw with your nervous system! Or maybe just 2-3 weeks of "weird yet effective" exercises... Squats on a Bosu ball, Cable Bench Press, stability ball pushups, cable deadlifts, ending a set up military presses with throwing a medicine ball up in the air (from hand to hand), jump squats... etc. Just do a few weeks of totally new exercises, even ones you don't use up in the tabs. Also, remember that shocks are hugely useful, but it's also good to change things up by doing a couple of cycles without shocks. Good luck!
