good workout, how do you legs feel the day after you workouts. It seems you keep it low volume and low reps for legs.

Thanks for dropping by! I do low-volume/low-reps for pretty much anything everything. I've had pretty awesome strength and size gains with this method and I really enjoy it, so I'm stickin' with it!

After this workout I was walking about as fast as a snail and almost tripped a couple times haha. I get pretty sore too depending on how hard I pushed things. When you do as few sets as I do you really have to put everything you've got into every set, that is the hard part. When I succeed at that, oh man, I can feel it. How long do your workouts usually last and how much rest in between sets do you usually do?

My workouts run from 30-45 minutes. About 2, sometimes 3, minutes between sets. On really tough stuff like squats and deadlifts I may take a longer rest.

Tuesday, Oct. 12th
No training today because I am "down with the sickness."

i usually work out a muscle group for half an hour to an hour, and i try to either limit my resting periods to 30ish seconds (a bit more if i absolutely destroy the muscle im working) or move on to a quick ab workout in between sets of the main muscle group im working out. i just do this to keep my energy levels up, i tend to get lazy if i wait to long in between sets. iLL jsut lay down on the benchpress and feel like having a nap if i wait to long. lol

keep up the goodwork TANUKI! and stop by my training journal!!!

Hey everybody... So I got a bit lazy with the journal, but I'm back!

Tue, Oct 19th- Chest
Incline BB press 2 X 4 @ 215
Flat DB bench press (no spotter) 1 X 4 @ 90, 1 X 5 @ 85
Weighted dips 1 X 4 @ 60

Really quick, focused and intense workout today. I was really short on time, only had about 25 minutes, but I feel that I stimulated some growth.
