whoops i never finished yesterdays post! oh well... i didn't get very many meals in because i was filming for a show and it was a verrrryyyy long shoot and i didn't get to eat! i was STARVING by the end. So forget yesterday, here's today! Cardio AM 40 min slow jogging 10:00 3 egg whites 1/3 c. oatmeal 1/3 scoop protein pwdr green tea 12:30 3/4 c. cottage cheese 1 apple coffee 4:00 3 egg whites SMALL amount of light american cheese carrots small amount of light ranch dressing 7:00 1/2 c. brown rice 1 c. veggies 3 oz chicken breast small apple 9:30 1/2 c. cottage cheese small salad w/ light ranch dressing how's this diet? this will probably close to what i'll be eating every day... i'm working on cutting out the coffee but today i had another show to do and i wanted to have energy for it. What about the rice at 7? Is it ok to eat carbs this late at night on a cut? Please feel free to tweak my diet! I'd appreciate it! |

As far as eating right before a workout goes, I've never had a problem with it. I used to lift and do cardio on an empty stomach in the morning (aaaaaagh!) before I learned better. [img]/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I would try like a half cup of oatmeal and a scoop of whey, or maybe a few egg whites and a slice of FF cheese. I think that will jack your metabolism WAY past what it is when you first wake up, and you'll have much more energy, making for a more productive workout.
I would try it once or twice and see if your stomach bothers you. Mine never does. I eat around 5:30-5:50am and I'm lifting by about 6:20 am, so there isn't much time for it to settle, but it's ok. Good luck! |

I would trade in the apples for something else. I avoided fruit on my entire last cut and made tremendous progress. Also, I would stay away from carbs your last 2-3 meals. That means move the rice and other carbs up a few meals. Also, it doesn't look to me like your eating enough. How many calories is that? Seems awefully tiny to me from just looking at it.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, my calories are a little low. Being in class all the time kinda makes it hard to eat as much as i need to. I'm trying to slowly raise them though. I really just need to incorporate more fats like natty pb and put some ground flax seeds in my salads. The apples I will cut out in a couple days (still have some in the frige). What about carrots? They have sugar in them too, but are they ok? |

10:00 1/2 c. oatmeal 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla) 1 tbs. sugar free pistacio pudding 1 packet splenda (this was pretty good w/ the pudding mix!) 2:00 1.5 c. lettuce 3.5 oz tuna 1/3 c. cottage cheese a few other veggies 1.5 tbs light dressing 1 oz peanuts 5:30 1 apple 1 oz peanuts 8:00 2 egg whites 4.5 oz tuna 2 tbs light mayo 1 c. lettuce light dressing 10 baby carrots 10:30 1/2 c. lf cottage cheese 1.25 tbs natty pb |

I am not a big fan of carrots, as they are higher in natural sugars, but they're not going to burden you that much. I prefer green veggies most of the time whether bulking or cutting, but that's just me.

Hmm... so today MTV was holding a 'REAL WORLD' casting call at my university, i stood in line for like 1hr and a half and then GOT OUT, it was gonna be like a 4.5 hr wait... i do not have time for that crap AND i don't even watch the show!
