Buffalo Chicken Fingers
This is a baked version of the popular spicy appetizer. Use more or less cayenne to taste. 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup bread crumbs 2 egg whites, beaten Directions: 1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Coat a baking sheet with a nonstick spray. 2.Cut chicken into finger-sized pieces. 3.In a bag, mix together flour, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.On a plate, mix the bread crumbs with the rest of the garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. 4.Shake the chicken pieces with the seasoned flour. Beat egg whites with 1 tablespoon water, and place egg mixture in a shallow dish or bowl. Dip seasoned chicken in egg mixture, then roll in the seasoned bread crumb mixture. Place on prepared baking sheet. 5.Bake for about 8 minutes. Use tongs to turn pieces over. Bake 8 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender. Told you it's an oil-less recipe.Original post though. Are their any bread crumbs that don't contain hydro-vegetable oil? All the ones i've seen do, and I stay away from that stuff.

That recipe looks awesome,frankly speaking.
Well,ChrisH19,you can toast some wholemeal bread to crisp and put them into a foodprecessor and whizz until it becomes fine powder. But make sure you let it cool down on a wire rack first because you don't want your bread crumb to be soggy because of the trapped hot steam.

I replaced everything with regular raw oats ground up. It makes a pretty good coating, and I thought they had great taste.
