I just went to check out the book at the book store. I did not buy it, nothing realy special just tells you how to work out with pictures, how many sets, things like that. It also talk's about supplements, nothing that you can't learn hear under the blue tabs.

I kind of like it because not only was great reading for my cardio yesterday but I can take it with me to the gym if I want. I think I am still a rookie and it give me lots of options. I read more last night and it has great relaxation techniques in there too. Of course a lot this information does mirror what is available on this site, but I guess that makes me trust it more.

A little advice if you're just learning exercises---make photocopies of the actual exercise photo and then shrink it to about 35% of its original size. Create your split by body part, glue them on a heavy duty piece of paper, laminate it and off to the gym! You can also wrap it around your water bottle with a rubberband so you don't have too much to carry around. Just a thought!

I actually carry my workout journal with me. I write down every set I have done at what weight, # of sets and reps, etc. I have taped a few new exercises right in my journal. It works like a charm. I never thought about the water bottle idea though. That seem like a great idea!!
