Run/walk 9.5k (1:20min) stretching hams, glutes, back. felt sore today tomorrow will be a day off. Forecast is 36 degree celcius! I'll be glad not to be running. Still have to figure out what I am going to do for weights...

TODAY: 06/21/04
Eliptical 35min abs (ball crunches 3x12) Pull ups (3x10) assisted @64lb Dips (3x10) assisted @64lb stretching hams, glutes, back. Note: my IT band was really thight when I did my run on Satuday (06/19/04) so I slowed down and added more walking at the end. Still later on at night, coming down the hill from my house to the parking lot my IT band started to hurt (ARGHHHH not again! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] ). Anyway, maybe I did too much this week. I did a 12k run/walk by mistake (took wrong trail) on tuesday and didn't take a day off on Saturday because I wanted to have a big day paragliding on Sunday *sigh* So much for that, conditions were wacky. Just being too eager I guess and not respecting the fact that this IT band thing is always coming back to haunt me when I'm not careful. I guess now I have once again reconfirm my limits! I have to be careful if I want to keep going, so this week I am going to be a bit more gentle.

hi figue... just checkin out your journal and youve made tons of progress on weight loss...without weights are you gaining any definition or tone to your muscles? or are you just going for a lean skinny look? GOOD JOB keep it up

Hey New!
Thanks for checking in! Yeah, i'd like to add some weights a bit. I am checking for a trainer right now. I don't want to get super ripped thought. Just want to lower my body fat and get toned [img]/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I have been plateauing for about 3 weeks (since I stopped Weight Watchers actually), in fact, seems like I gained 0.8 lb. Could be muscle cuz I'm doing more exercise but who knows. My goal is to get between 118-116lb. That's what I used to way when I was 25, biking about 80km /week and working in a climbing gym.
