Hi everybody, I am new here! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
I have been checking out this site and find it quite informative. I am quite new to fitness training (since April 04) althought I have been fairly active on and off since I was a teen (road biking, skiing, hiking, climbing), but I never got some crucial concepts... For instance, I always thought that I was doomed to be injury prone and unathletic, not realising that the key to staying uninjured was to go gradually + consistantly and with good form, and I also didn't get how important nutrition was to a good physique. 3 years ago, I good a "real job" and since then I have to commute for 45-50 min twice a day. I also gained 23lb in the process [img]/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] Doh! Now I am 31 years old and realize that I have to get off me b*tt. Since last march, I lost 12 lb, and want to learn more and more about training and nutrition. I want to reach my goals and wish you great success with your respective goals, lots of learning and fun in the process! Cheers!
