Default \"Holy crap look at that guy!!\" CT\'s workout journal *comments welcome*

Okay it's probably about **** time I start one of these. I'll be heading for college football here in a couple months so I'm looking to possibly cut a little bit of weight and get stronger than ever. It's a D3 school so hopefully I should be able to bust the starting lineup. I can only make the weight room 3x/week so Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday will be home workout days (abs, cardio, ect.)

Monday - Chest and calves
Tuesday - Abs
Wednesday - Legs forarms and lats
Thursday - Abs
Friday - Back and biceps
Saturday - light cardio
Sunday - off

The number of excersizes I do with each workout will vary according to the number of sets/reps/weight I do on each one. I'll really make an effort to keep this as up-to-date as possible. I'm not gonna post my diet because quite frankly, it's crap by bodybuilder standards. Right now I'm on glutamine, whey, dextrose, and creatine. If you can think of anything else I need, feel free to tell me.

I don't do the pretty colors so bear with me. I made it to the weight room today so I did Wednesday's workout because I won't be able to make it in tomorrow. So here we go.

SQUATS
385x5 405x4 425x3 445x2 465x1(failed)
365x5 385x4 405x3 425x2 445x1(failed again AHHHH)
345x5 365x4 385x3 405x2 425x1(struggled bad but got it)
325x5 345x4 365x2 385x1 405x1(missed on those 2 sets but got the last one)

My squat form wasn't the best so next week I'm going to bring down the weight and concentrate on butt-to-floor.

LAT PULLDOWNS
260x5 260x4 260x3 260x2 260x1
240x5 240x4 240x3 240x2 240x1
220x5 220x4 you get the point...
200x5 ect.......................

WRIST CURLS
50x50 45x50 40x50 35x50 30x50

Everything was KILLING ME after this one. My quads are shot, I am at a loss for grip, and I couldn't do a single pullup. So all in all, GOOD WORKOUT. Got done, and went to watch the girlfriend play softball. She went 2-3 with a single, double, and 2RBIs. They lost 7-6 though.

Should probably mention that on those wrist curls I failed on many of the later sets. Only made it to 35 or 40 reps on a couple.

Yea! Glad to see this, dude. I'll be following

How come you've got direct bicep work but not triceps? Are bis lagging?

lol Yeah they're kind of confusing but those aren't my normal sets.
Okay so on squats -- I started out at 385 5 times and added 20 pounds/subtracted 1 rep until I got to 1 rep. Then I start over again at 5 reps but go 20 lbs lighter than the weight I started at the last time. It ends up that I did 20 sets. Hope I kinda cleared this up, I knew that would confuse some people.

To say the least. They are pretty out of proportion compared to my tris so I just throw in tri work elsewhere but really pound my bis all by themselves.
