If I ever get a break and can start lifting again, it will be a miracle. Two weeks into the semester, my family was out for a week with stomach flu, and then the semester hit in earnest. Teaching part time at a community college while trying to finish your doctorate and being a TA at the same time is kind of constrictive. I just gave up. Summer should be more fun. My diet is much cleaner, too. Whee.
I'm trying to run SHORT rest periods to get as much fat burn as possible. Rocky Situps: BW Push Presses: (strict) 95x11,4,3,1 CG bench: 95x10,7,3 Skullcrushers: 65x4, 55x8,6,2 Side/Rear laterals: 12x12,8 I have zero anaerobic endurance right now. but I am supposed to be lifting with Brad Rietow for summer, so we'll see how it goes. God willing, we will be drunk on the burning souls of a thousand Tony Littles, and their ponytails will be cast into a lake of fire. |

If only I wasn't a candyass, it might even be inspiring.

I skipped Chest/Bicep and Leg workouts (involving SLDL) because my triceps were so swollen and ruined that I couldn't even pick my noise. I think I inflamed the insertions, and there was also waste pooling that came out as swelling. Yuck. I got a massage for them yesterday (no joke) and had them looked at.
Body weight is currently at 186 in the mornings. I took a BF% yesterday on the magic electric scale. My cousin works as a PT, and he said that if you average the readings from the two modes, it's usually pretty accurate when compared to a caliper test. One said 13.2% (ha!) and one said 20% (which I believe). So his guesstimate is about 16.5% BF. It's probably closer to twenty, but at least I have a starting point. Monday I'll run light triceps to get a pump and get them flushed out, and then on Tuesday I start lifting with Brad. I really want to stick with rep work on core exercises for a while to try and get my connective tissue and anaerobic endurance back up. I still can't believe that deadlift blitz day post. I look back at that and I have no clue why or how I lifted that much weight in a day. Whatever. |
