By using stricter form, slower negatives, and stretching between sets you can get an incredible pump in all your workouts. Numbers are an abstraction, especially to muscles. Your body doesn’t know the absolute weight of what you lift, it only recognizes how heavy it feels. The secret is to make lighter weights feel heavier. i think an updated list of this needs to be posted, also you should add Lentils and fat free ricotta cheese. Also Davinci liquid syrups(sugar/calorie free), and Walden farms calorie free chocolate sauce(necesity for survival)

This might be a newbie question, but do the above foods apply to those that are cutting as well? I haven't started (SOOOOO much reading to do) but want a good foundation to start from with regard to food choices.

For example, I eat wild rice instead of brown. Despite market hype, this list contains foods that are always available to the bodybuilder. Amazon

How do you know which cut of beef is lean? I bought some steaks today that had visible fat (eye of round and sirloin tips). Actually, I think all of them had visible fat. I checked on calorieking.com, but all of the cuts of steak had relatively high fat content. Here is an example:

Without getting all technical, if it looks less fatty it IS less fatty. Also depends on the cooking technique. BBQ for the leanest, fry for the fattest!
