okay, i messed up my diet really bad. last week was spring break and there was a death in my family and from there on out i was not eating for long periods of time and then when i did it was sandwiches and LOTS of sweets. I did not go to the gym all week either. I need to get back on track now but don't know what to do calorie wise. Where should i start? Also, i am trying to cut... just not doing a good job! thanks!

I'd go back to the calorie level you were at before your break.

First of all you have my sympathies for the death in your family. I wouldn't worry about your diet durning that time.
As for getting back into the diet I would suggest you eat your maintance cals for a few days and reset your metobolism. Then after that start your diet again. Don't worry to much about it though. You'll make the transistion back into it very quickly.

I would start right from where you left off, maintenance. Once you've been there for a few weeks, tweak the diet You have my sincerest sympathy during this difficult time.
