warm-up
press 75# x 20 ss w/ calf press 2 sets

*Goal on all exercies today: I want to get to a good weight where I have to really struggle just to get 6-8 reps in*

165# x 20 ss w/ calves
255# x 18 ss w/ calves
345# x 12 ss w/ calves
435# x 8 ss w/ calves

525# x 5 (last a little assisted) then ss w/
255# x 36 ss w/ 165# x ~18 (kinda forgot to count)
*only rest for the last 3 was while taking wt. plates off*

negative accentuated seated leg curls:
*lift load w/ ft. dorsi-flexed, lower in plantar flexed position*
100# x 9
115# x 7
100# x 6
85# x 8

lying varied ft position leg curls:
toes neutral, in, and out
80# x 6 3 sets
60# x 8 3 sets


good mornings:
65# x 10 3 sets
45# x 12 1 set

30 minute partner assisted stretching

I bascially stayed within my 6-8 rep range that I wanted. I didn't think I was going to have a good workout. My husband had problems getting my butt out of bed this morning. But it turns out I was really strong today and wasn't tired anymore once I got moving. Afterwards, we got a smoothie and went to Lowe's and by that time my hams were already sore. I got an awesome pump on them doing 10 sets of leg curls.

My hams are still sore. I feel them tighten up when i walk. They'll be ok by tomorrow...I hope. I've got me some sprinting to do tomorrow.

*Goal for this workout is to not lift as heavy on my chest but use only a 20 second rest period between sets for all my chest exercies. I want to focus on my triceps and use only a 30 second rest between all sets and low reps*

bench press:
warm-up
45# x 12 2 sets
65# x 12
75# x 10 3 sets

incline db press:
20# x 12
30# x 12
25# x 12

db flyes:
20# x 8 3 sets
1 minute stretch w/ the 20#'s

close grip incline smith press:
95# x 6
75# x 8
65# x 10

skullcrushers:
50# x 5
50# x 5
30# x 15
1 minute stretch w/30#'s behind head

1 arm overhead ext. supinated:
15# x 5 drop 10# x 8 3 sets

1 arm overhead ext. pronated:
15# x 4 drop 10# x 7 3 sets

My tri's gave out on the last exercies but didn't get a pump in them. My left arm got slightly less than my right arm.

For part of my squats I had to use the Smith machine. I was really sweaty after all those, 18 sets total. My quads started cramping up till I stretched them afterwards. I've had better workouts. But I've definitely had worse. I thought I was going to puke afterwards from drinking so much water.

I've been working on my diet slowly for the past few weeks. Now I'm at the point where it's pretty clean, and well...boring. If it flies, swims, or runs, or is green, I'll eat it.

Sunday I was able to get out on the track again. I strapped an extra 15 pounds to me and did some sprints.

Today was a crappy, crappy workout. It was way too packed, some hairy, sweaty guy kept talking to me, woke up late, and just had other things on my mind about work. And my legs are hurting sooooo bad from yesterday. But here it is anyways...

Had to do something to get the blood in my legs. I won't be able to run tonight...I think.

I'm so glad tomorrow is my off day. I need it. I took the day off from work Thurs, and Fri so I can paint our condo. Hopefully I'll have a better workout on Friday.
