Default a certain exercise ?

Hi
I saw a guy lastnight in the gym doing an exercise that I dont know the name of it. Im wondering if its for shoulders or back? I didnt want to go ask cause he was in "workout mode"with headphones...so....

Ill describe it...this aut to be fun LOL

Your standing ,you have two dumbells verticle in front of you ,touching about mid chest level. You push the dumbells out to your sides, keeping your elbows completely tucked to your sides. Its like your doing a reverse hug is this for your mid to lower lats or for your shoulder rotator cuff?and what exactly is it called? LOL

me wanna try it

Thanks ~Sky

Yes, it is cuff. Some people call them cups, though.

Is it an exercise that most of you guys do. Or more for someone that maybe going through like a post op surgery recovery? I guess I just havent seen too many people doing it.

Scottie_X,
