Keep up the great work, Sherman! I have no doubt that focusing in on your diet will be a big help to you in your pursuit of becoming leaner. I look forward to seeing the details of it.

Hey Sherman,
It's great to see you are keeping up with your workouts... sooner than you think you'll be cranky if you miss them...

Thanks Tuf and Pat...nice to get some props every so often.. ..helps keep us all motivated.. ..as you can see I haven't posted, but I'm not lettin' up...don't want to have those heavy DOMS again.. ..I did get a little off schedule Saturday with Valentine's day and all.....made a late breakfast for my wife and daughter and after cleaning things up we went out shopping....whewwww!!!!...now that's a workout... ...anyway, I decided to do a full body workout Sunday to make up for it and be on schedule.....sooooooo, here's what the weekend workouts looked like... .

Saturday - 7:30am
2/14/04

8 mile walk -- I really pushed myself especially on the hills...I was at a 9 minute mile pace a for a bit and that was on the hills...did some stretching for back and legs after...

Sunday - 7:30am
2/15/04

5 mile walk -- a little more intense than before...I decided to cut it short since I was lifting later...stretched back and legs....

2:35pm

Front Squats 1/12/115 - 1/10/125 - 1/10/135 - 1/8/145
Single Leg Extentions 3/8/50
Stiff Leg Deads(Bb) 1/10/95 - 1/10/105 - 1/8/115 - 1/8/125
Standing Leg Curls 3/8/40

Incline Press 1/12/135 - 1/10/165 - 1/10/185 - 1/8/195
Flys(10 sec reps) 3/10/25

Pulldowns 1/10/115 - 1/10/125 - 1/10/135
Bench Rows 3/10/40
Seated Shouder Press(Bb) 1/12/95 - 1/10/105 - 1/10/115

That's it...and I have to admit that it "really" isn't a full body, but I'd say all of my muscles got work except my calves...I'll incorporate them in on the next leg day...

...the plan is to hit every bodypart every 5 days.. It was a little tough to get going this morning...I stayed up a little later and when the alarm went off I think I hit the snooze at least twice...so I was running late and almost skipped cardio...but I knew I'd feel better if I got it in...so even though I knew I'd be late for work I got it in...these are the times you gotta push yourself...it'll come into play somewhere else in your training...

Wednesday - 4:00am
2/18/04

Lifecycle 15mins -- levels 1,2,3 -- 6 sprints...last 3 minutes I
used level 2 increasing the intensity a little...

Oblique Crunches 3/20

Yesterday I lifted after work...it was my first time back in the gym...I have a membership at Bally's Total Fitness that I've had since '83...I'm not that thrilled with it any more, but it's so cheap for me to renew that I wouldn't dare let it lapse...also they've gotten rid of all the heavy
weight type equipment...dumbbells only go to 85...no seated row machine...plate loaded leg press only allows for 9 plates each side...very limiting.. ..so World Gym is lookin' pretty good about right now...I'm hoping to join in March...anyway, enough of my ranting.. ...here's my workout and cardio for Thursday and Friday....

Thursday -- 3:55pm - 5:15pm
2/19/04

Squats 135x12 - 175x10 - 195x8 - 215x6 - 225x6
Leg Press 270x12 - 360x10 - 410x10 - 430x10
Lying Leg Curls(ts) 48x12 - 60x10 - 60x8
Leg Extensions 84x12 - 108x10 - 132x10
Seated Calf Raises 80x15 - 90x15 - 100x10

Bicep Curls(Bb) 65x10 - 75x8 - 85x8 - 90x6
Preacher Curl Machine(st) 55x12,45x6 - 60x10,50x5 - 65x10,55x5
Wrist Curls(set bars) 30x15 - 50x12 - 60x10

Friday -- 3:30am - 3:55am
2/20/04

Lifecycle 15mins---levels 1,2,3---7 sprints---

Hanging Kneeups 3/15
Raised Leg Crunches 3/25

My eating has been pretty consistent this week with at least 5 meals a day including shakes...I need to get one more meal some how...I haven't been recording my meals, but I'm planning on starting very soon...hopefully this weekend.
...soooooooooo, there it is...today is a rest day and I'll enjoy it after legs...I can feel the DOMS starting again already.. ...I hate the DOMS!!!!...but I loved my workout...

Looks great, and yet another happy Beverly subscriber Just started seriously following their diet and supp plan (save Mass aminos...that's next payday) and already I am noticing a difference. Will be fun to follow your progress. Keep at it!
