I actually stuck with the diet...which for me is excellent, Although I had major chocolate cravings between 2:30 - 5. I really had to fight with my mind not to have any.

Yesterdays workout was interesting....
I was pretty proud of the effort I put in for the first time
I came home and as I was walking I fell on my *** as my legs had given up on me! lol, I was shocked by the pain I woke up with the next day

Now remember, this is my first time...so I was still playing with the weights and reps.

Treadmill - warmup 5 mins

Leg Press
150lbs x 10
250 x 5
233lbs x 4 ( I kinda overestimated how much weight I could do here)
200 x 7

Leg Extensions SS Sissy Squats
90lbs x10 bw x 10
90 x 8 bw x 10
80 x 9 bw x 10

Lunges (one leg at a time)
6.5kg in each hand
x 15
x 15
x 10

Seated Leg Curl
90lbs x 15
90 x 15 ( I found the first rep to be hard, but I could keep going and going - so I didnt do this till failure)
100 x 12
110 x 10

well the diet went really well for the week...cant really same the same for the workouts,
I pretty much picked a bad time to start....just a major lack of time..the build up the valentines was huge. I was up at 6, and home by 7/8. At that stage my body prefered to go to bed rather than to the gym

In the meantime I did buy calipers and glutamine.
I tried to do my bf this morning but I have to get my sister to do my back and tris. They will be posted up later.

Going away for the weekend, meals are all packed and ready. So i'll be back monday, hopefully a regular poster

Just to clarify this, cause they use male pictures and it looks a little different for us girls

I’m a little bit confused about the body fat testing
I just wanted to check the places I pinch for the two spots

So the chest is
Halfway between the crease of the underarm and the nipple diagonally (in red)

And the Midaxillary is the place I’ve marked in pink?

Is that correct?

Thanks

*EDIT* Hope this new link works

Otherwise go to

and it will be in the abc folder

Hey, Martensite. Nice journal! I tried to check your pics, but the file is inaccessible. Your description of the chest measurement sounds correct.

I hope you have a good weekend!

Pectoral 8
Abdomen 14
Thigh 20
Subscapular 7
Tricep 15
Midaxillary 7
Suprailiac 8
Bicep 2
Calf 11.5

*9-site BF%=16.62%
*7-site BF%=16.22%

this is my first time with caliper measurements, and I also had my sister helping me aswell.
I am unsure about my bicep as it is quiet low compared to the rest, but no matter how many times I tried I couldnt get a higher reading so..

I was quiet suprised though, I would have guess myself to be at least 20%
Although my upper body is the leanest, most of my fat does sit in my lower back. But I wouldn’t have guessed myself to be anywhere near 16%

also I guessed my weight as we dont have scales. I just used 70kgs (154lbs), but I'll double check tomorrow.

Well although I havnet logged on here much, My diet has been 100%.
I was told to cut out all wheat, dairy, and caffiene by my natropath, and sure enough I did.
so for just over 3 weeks now I have not cheated which is awesome for me! I dont even crave coffee anymore.

I went out for tea last night with my boyfriend. so I had a bit of a cheat meal.
king prawns, calimari, broccoli and snowpeas, in a cream curry sauce
and dessert was chocolate mousse

3 weeks ago I weighed 67kgs. and cause I struggled to eat around 2000 cals instead of cutting i just ate like this
week 1 = avg. 1950cals
week 2 = avg. 2050 cals
week 3 = avg. 2150 cals
all with approx 40/30/30
so far I've gained 1kg, so I hope thats one lean kg!

Whey 1 scoop
flaxseed meal 1tbs

PWO Shake
1.5scoops Whey
1tbs Dextrose
2 tbs, 2 tsp Maltodextrin
