Currently trying to bulk. Had to cut my weights due to missing the gym for two weeks. (pics up soon hopefully)

Rough day... I think I'm getting sick.
Day 1 Chest and Tri's Dumbell Flat bench 75 x 12 80 x 10 85 x 8 90 x 5 Dumbell Incline bench 55 x 12 60 x 10 70 x 8 75 x 6 Decline Full Body Press (Machine) 12.5 x 12 15 x 10 17.5 x 8 Dumbell Fly 45 x 12 45 x 11 50 x 10 55 x 8 Incline Fly 40 x 12 45 x 10 50 x 8 Weighted Dips 35 x 16 35 x 12 35 x 11 Skullcrushers 50 x 12 60 x 11 60 x 10 60 x 8 70 x 6 Cable Extensions 70 x 12 75 x 10 80 x 8 Probably going to try and keep track of what I eat as well, in the future. I'm trying to bulk now, should I cut down on my reps, or is my routine fine as it is?

1/16/04 Back day Deadlift 135 x 12 155 x 10 185 x 8 205 x 6 Bent over barbell row 95 x 12 115 x 10 135 x 7 145 x 5 Chinups 14 8 9 Incline Isolation dumbell rows 40 x 12 45 x 9 50 x 6 T-bar rows 45 x 12 55 x 10 65 x 9 75 x 8 90 x 6 Cable rows 110 x 12 120 x 10 140 x 7 Hyperextensions 35 x 12; 8 35 x 10; 6 -dropped a plate on my right hand... day ended early So I officially nominate myself for the "jackass of the week" award, assuming it exists. I suppose I deserve it for lifting on only a few hours sleep. Anyway, any comments on my back routine? I think it needs the most work. See ya!

Yeah, I've been neglecting my journal big time...
well I guess I'll start back by posting my diet first... 9/13/04 Whole grain cereal/ with scoop of raw oats in skim milk small glass OJ multivitamin creatine scoop Protein Shake (whey, wheat germ, skim milk, natty pb, low fat coconut milk) Ham on whole wheat with veggie cheese handfull mini carrots handfull soy nuts Homeade Protein bars (Thanks guys!) Fresh caught fish (flounder???) sweet potatoe greens PWO shake Cottage Cheese Comments are welcome guys!!! It's great to be back, you are all an inspiration!

Glad to see you made it back. Hope the finger healed up.
I am kind of in your boat. I neglected my journal for months and found out I was lacking motivation in the gym. I posted today and am going to stick with it. Good luck to you. Oh, you asked about comments on your back routine... More pull ups!!! Do five sets of pull ups if you can. I started trying to either do five sets of 10 or how ever many sets it took me to get to 50 reps. It blows out those lats and you gain strength pretty quick. Stay at it.

Today was Chest/Tris My flat bench is still quite weak, a bit disconcerting. Otherwise my diet and the miracle PWO have really helped my gains! Bench Press 135x12(warmup) 155x10 175x7 (failure) 185x4 (failure) Incline Dumbell Press 50x10 55x8 60x5(failure) Cable Flys 30x10 35x8 40x6 Underhanded Cable Flys (don't know a better name for them) 25x10 30x8 35x6 Incline dumbell flys 35x10 40x8 45x6 Dips 12 8 (weighted with 25lbs) 8 (weighted with 35lbs) Skullcrushers 40x10 50x9 60x6 Tricep Extension w/ overhand extension superset 55x10 60x9(failure) 60x8 65x8(failure) 65x6 70x5(failure) Abs!! Felt good today... plus I got new chocolate whey!! so tired of vanilla...

Ah... a new day
Diet: two whole wheat waffles w/ natty pb, bit of honey, and scoop of wheat germ (breakfast sandwich yummm) multivitamin creatine shaker w/ oats and whey turkey sandwich w/ whole wheat wrap, mustard and veggie cheese, handful of baby carrots blackbean burger, zucchini patty, handfull of unsalted dry roasted cashews turkey sandwich w/ whole wheat wrap, mustard and veggie cheese turkey chili cottage cheese Got work from 10-5 then class 6-8, so I need on the go food Cardio tonight... ugh, not in the mood
