I had a great Xmas meal. [img]/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
I went out to tea with my father to a buffet style meal - yummmm. I had "everything" and enjoyed every moment .... soup and garlic bread cold cut meats with stuffing, and heaps of salads with full fat dressings over everything. Roast pork AND ham, roast veges drizzled in oil/butter, lasagne and everything else that was there. Pudding ...where to start??? I had hot Xmas pudding, chocolate cake, sweet mince pies, and pavlova, cheese cake. Finished off with coffee and cheeses (all full fat !) with dried fruit, nuts and crackers .....as well as chocolates and lollies. It was wonderful ! Needless to say I didn't get on the scales the next day, but did go for a walk and ate clean for a few days after that. Weight wise it did no damage ...and was well worth it ! A good binge of bad food at Xmas is good for the soul and sometimes I think it is good to for us to lighten up, stop counting macros ....be human with everyone else and enjoy some of the many treats ... As long as it doesn't turn into a daily habit ....(tempting that it is !) [img]/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] |
