They have a donkey machine at my gym but yeah I think they are rare. I have been to a bunch of gyms and don't really think I've seen one anywhere else.

My first week of bulking was a little bit of a let down, mainly because of my diet. I depended too much upon supplements and not enough real food, but the main problem is that I just didn't get enough calories. But it is only one week and hopefully, having recognized those problems, I will be able to fix them this week. I am off to a good start so far today. I haven't noticed anything from the swole v2 yet, but it has only been a week. It will probably take closer to a month to really see results. My workout today was pretty good. Here is what I did:
1.Deadlift a.115x10 b.185x10 c.235x6 2.DB pullover a.50x10 b.60x8 c.70x8 3.T-bar row a.90x10 b.100x8 c.100x7 4.Pullups a.6 b.5 5.DB hammer curl a.35x8 b.35x8 c.35x6 6.EZ bar standing curls a.55x8 b.55x6 c.55x6 7.Hammer strength preacher curl a.45x8 b.45x8 I didn't do any shrugs today because I was feeling weird in my traps. Doing pullups as my last back exercise made a huge difference. Normally I can do 10 or more per set when I do them first, but I think it was a welcome change of pace to do them at the end like that. I decided to set some goals for myself. Here they are: 1 - bench and squat 225x10 2 - have 16 inch arms and a 32 inch waist 3 - get bigger legs (not setting a specific number yet) 4 - weigh 175-180 with under 12% body fat Im not sure what my current stats are except that I weigh 165 now. I plan to take measurments and do a 9 point caliper test this week. By the looks of things I think my body fat is around 9-10%.

I was drinking 3 or 4 protein shakes a day until I just decided to coook some freaking food. Now I've cut back to my one shake post workout and maybe a small one in the morning. Feels likes I'm getting some good quality beef on the old bones now... [ QUOTE ] I decided to set some goals for myself. I do question your squats though. If you really focus on your legs, their strength can shoot up dramatically. I'm guessing by the time you hit 225 for 10 reps on bench, you could be squatting in the 275 to 300 pounds range for a good amount of reps. On that note, I looked through your workouts to date and they're defintely solid. Great job. |

SB, very nice back, bi day and very brave of you to put pull ups at the end of your back routine. I may have to try that soon.

[/ QUOTE ] For most people that is true about the legs, but I only trained upper body up until I found abc. It was only about a year ago that I got serious and started doing legs so right now my bench and squat are pretty comparable. One day my squat will surpass my bench but right now they are pretty close so thats why my goal is the same for each.

It was sort of a spontaneous descision to do pull ups at the end like that, but it wound up being a good shock. Maybe you will like it, too. I'm going to go check out your journal and see what you've been up to.

I like putting pullups at the end of my back days, too. At the beginning, then in the middle, then the end again!
