[ QUOTE ] I like to be shorter than the guy I'm with...but I'm not really picky about height. If he was a little bit shorter that would be fine too...but I've never encountered a guy my age shorter than myself (I'm only 5'3) [/ QUOTE ] Pesca ??? I knew it!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2190461.stm "It seems that tall men and petite women are favoured in evolutionary terms, even in a modern population, so the height difference between men and women is unlikely to disappear," says Daniel Nettle of the Open University. |

"It seems that tall men and petite women are favoured in evolutionary terms, even in a modern population, so the height difference between men and women is unlikely to disappear," says Daniel Nettle of the Open University. [/ QUOTE ] LOL! You know what's going to happen if evolution is mentioned! [ QUOTE ] British scientists have come up with an explanation for why most men are taller than women. [/ QUOTE ] Do tell! [ QUOTE ] But not all scientists are convinced that genes are the driving force. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] There is no evidence that these choices are actually favoured in evolutionary terms, says Adam Eyre-Walker from the Centre for the Study of Evolution at the University of Sussex, Brighton. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] He says the study was done on British people, so all we may be seeing is the influence of culture. [/ QUOTE ] Translation- like ususal "evolutionary" excuses they can't make sense of anything other than to proclaim, "we're here! That proves it!"

I love tall guys!! I know... I'm a shortie in this country, but can't help it. Most of the tall guys (above 6') are appealing to me, if you add muscles to that... yummie

Having always towered over guys myself, I prefer men to be taller than me. On the other hand, that hasn't stopped me from dating guys shorter than me either. My boyfriend isn't much taller than me, and his bad posture makes him appear shorter than he is.
But I don't know of any women who complain about a guy being too tall. So I'm sure you're in the clear. |

GP, you and your wife look so cute together!
Height isn't important to me. The guy can be short or tall or even purple for all I care. |
