Well, I never really left!
I was in the dumps last week and hurt my lower back, so I took a few days off. Lemme tell ya, it worked wonders! I had a great arm/cardio day today! I rearranged my split to fit better with my school/work schedule. Things look pretty good! I'm still going through some crappy times right now, but at least I can get rid of those negative vibes at the gym. How's everybody doing? |

Hi Elle! Welcome back. I'm curious to know how tall you are. We have very similar stats! I've been lifting for 6 months now and I'm planning to add a couple days of HIIT. I've never done that before. (see post in hardcore training)
I'm 5'3". It's encouraging to see someone is near the same place as myself. :-)

I'm fighting a cold that continually seems on the verge of sneaking up on me!
I am doing great on the whole foods thing! I have firmed up considerably. I think I was holding a lot of water. I feel great and I am days away from my period, so that says a lot! My PMS symptoms (physically & psychotically....LOL) are a lot less extreme. Yes I still feel like cutting my bangs at any moment, but the urge to pick up the scissors is manageable. I have increased my carbs a bit too....my cravings have almost disappeared! I may not be on the "ideal" cutting diet, but I am on one that I can mentally maintain through everyday life and not obsess about. I still fit in my old jeans that I couldn't even sqeaze into at the beginning of the challenge! Yeah baby! The "Jeans-O-Meter" never lies! |
