Supplements I’m currently taking

Multivitamin & Calcium (2x a day), with meal 1 & meal 5

Vitamin C&E (2x a day), With meal 3 and PWO shake

Creatine (3x day), morning and before and after workout

Suppliements I am not taking right now.

ZMA (I recently ran out of ZMA and have not got around to ordering some more.)

Animal Pak (When I have the money I like to splurge since it makes me feel hardcore.)

My current split is as follows


Sunday - off
Monday - Back / Shoulders
Tuesday - off
Wednesday – Chest / Shoulders
Thursday - off
Friday - Legs
Saturday – Arms / Abs / Cardio


My workouts will last for about 2 hours long but depending on what happens tonight, I might have to change things up. I might sign up for a class that will last for three weeks long, Monday to Friday. If that is the case that will only leave about 1 hour a day to train. So I might have to do something like this


Sunday - off
Monday - Back
Tuesday - Chest
Wednesday – Cardio / Abs
Thursday – Shoulders/Traps
Friday - Arms
Saturday – Legs

This split I will be training just about everyday and It will give me 1 hour to focus on each body part, except for Saturday where I can spend 2 hours on legs. [img]/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Well last night I got to the gym late, around 7:30pm and did not start my workout till about 7:50. Since I only had an hour to workout, I only focused on back. Here is my routine from last night.


Monday night
barbell rows 2 sets x 15 reps of 212
2 sets x 12 reps of 276

unilateral pull down 2 sets x 15 reps of 300
2 sets x 12 reps of 390

one arm longbar row 2 sets x 15 reps of 92
2 sets x 12 reps of 119

deadlifts 2 sets x 14 reps of 165
2 sets 2 12 reps of 215


Last night was a real strain to workout. It was really cold in Nogales so the gym had all the doors and windows closed. With everyone doing cardio and lifting weights the room got very hot and stuffy. The windows and mirrors in the gym began to fog up from the moisture of sweat in the air. But with a little difficulty I made it through.

Yesterday I got in my daily calorie intake of 3,543

For meal 5 and 7 I had spegetthi(sp?) with ground beef.
And today I will be having the same thing for meal 4


BTW: how do you spell spegetthi

Yeah it is a lot of food at the beginning but now I'm used to it. Thanks for the idea, I guess I'll reserve the morning to update my journal. I just hope I can keep it up.

Since I’m taking a class after work, I’m only limited to about an hour for my workout.
Last night (Tuesday) was chest day, here was my routine

Bench Press 2 sets x 15 reps of 152

Incline DB press 2 sets x 15 reps of 60
2 sets x 12 reps of 75

Seated Machine flys 2 sets x 15 reps of 155
2 sets x 12 reps of 200

Incline press 2 sets x 15 reps of 123
2 sets x 12 reps of 160

Yesterday we had a retirement party for our front desk receptionist. So for meal 4 I did not do to good. I basically had spicy meatballs, fruit, punch; you know party type food.

Meal 1 - followed my diet

Meal 4 – retirement party food

Meal 5 – half of Chipotle chicken burrito

Meal 6 - PWO shake

Meal 7 – beef w/ nopales (cactus pads) <-- it’s a Mexican thing

Yesterday I intended to do Shoulders and traps but ran out of time so I only did shoulders. Recently I noticed a little more strain on my rotator cuff as I lift the weights so I decided to start off with a few exercises to try and build it up a bit. This is my routine from last night; I did not include my warm up on this list. The whole set took me about an hour to complete.


Rotator cuff exercise
External rotation w/ dumbbell lying on side (2 sets per each side)
External rotation w/ dumbbell standing (2 sets per each side)

Shoulder routine
Military Press 2 sets x 15 reps of 105
2 sets x 12 reps of 136

Barbell front raise 2 sets x 15 reps of 60
2 sets x 12 reps of 78

Side laterals w/ cable 2 sets x 15 reps of 30
2 sets x 11 reps of 40

Well this was my diet for yesterday (Wednesday). I think I did kind of okay.
