I have to agree with Ericabomb. The articles talks about beginners doing cardio only. It makes no mention that they were doing weights. In that regard I have to agree that the mirrors would have a negative effect. Not much need to check out your form when you're on the treadmill.

I don't think I'd want to see my self run..especially doing HIIT! I probably look like a red faced fool with a bright ball of red hair on top! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I love the mirrors for lifting though. It helps me a lot with form and to actually see my muscles contracting.
