you need to type:

Click on "My Home" at the top of the page.

Click on the "Edit" link to the right of the "Personal information, email, password, etc." line.

Scroll down until you see a line that reads "URL to your picture (110x110 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted)". Right below it is a text field. In that field, type in the address where the picture that you want to have as your avatar is hosted, then scroll down and click on the button labeled "Submit".

[/'color] (and took out the single quote out of the closing tag).
