Default Bench Max

I put up 155.
I'm really disapointed in myself I've worked really hard. I get so sore and it doesn't seem to even be doing anything.
It's back/bi day so I'll be going to the gym later.

Default Re: Bench Max

getting sore and nothing seems to happen could be signs of overtraining. carefull u mite be pushing too hard and not giving urself enough time to heal.

Default Extra HARDCORE Rest Day

Thanks for the advice. I decided to take the day off. I'll do back/bi on sat. that's why I like my split, its very flexible.
I went wakeboarding, hows that for active recovery for my legs!? They feel a lot looser.

I guess I just have to know when it is more hardcore to stay out of the gym and heal!

Default Healing

Chest & tris feel healed today. I have another rest day before I train again.
Legs still hurt (just quads + glutes)
Back and Bis got really beat up, but they usually heal the fastest.

TIME TO CHANGE MY CHEST WORKOUT:
Flat BB Bench Press
Pec Compound
Incline DB press
Incline DB Flys

Default New Bicep move!

Just holding on to this OS post for reference:
One handed incline preacher cable curls.....whew...

It's a long name, but a easy to grasp, highly effective exercise...and I might mention very painful!

Begin by attaching a handle to a low cable attachment.

Set an incline bench facing forward towards the cable.

Level the incline to your desired resistance. The more vertical the back of the seat is, the harder it becomes.

I prefer a low back incline bench, so I can keep strict.

Now place your elbow in the same position as you would a standard preacher curl, and pump away.
