No creatine on a cut...
Wheb cutting...I'm down to bare, basics, clean foods...no whey powder either. Multi-V. and glutamine only. On creatine...no side effect, I do drink extra, extra water when in a cycle...only side effect: extra pumps, extra hardness of muscles and I always gain a good solid 5# on the scale (water) Nath.

Thanks Nath....I may go on a mini bulk after my 12 week cut depending on the end results and I've been debating using creatine for a while now. Any brand in particular you would recommend?
No whey? Why's that? |

For creatine & glutamine I use prolab...good quality, best price I found so far, buy them via Net at SND. I buy in 1000gr bucket. For my whey I go with PVL whey gourmet (coach recommendation).
Why no whey...because when I go into precontest mode I go down to bare basics foods, like this I know exactly what is getting in. (Don't want extra sodium and stuff like that, but that's just what work's for me [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Precontest foods is the following: PROTEINS: Chicken, fish, Tuna & egg white (last 2, only the first 12-14week...last 6-8 they are out 'cause of the sodium) CARBS: Oat, patato, rice (first 12-14 week only), then switch to fibrous carbs for the last 6-8 wks...Carrot, salad, brocoli, cauliflower and any others green. Aspartame and minimum diet pop./gum allowed the first 14 weeks...and then they are out the last 6wks. The last month b4 contest I live on chicken, carrot, califlower, brocoli and salad....6x a day.
