I need a test for testing bf with calipers. I can't use the one in the body fat testing guide because it involves the measurement of too many areas. I have a hell of a time trying to measure my back, actually, I wasn't even able to, so my bf testing was pretty inaccurate.
I need one where I can test myself. Are there other options (smaller point tests, etc)?

Do as I do, I take the 9-point measurements myself except the back, the back I put the same as last one when wife measured. She takes the back measurement ones a month so then I get a new value. You get a pretty accurate bf-% this way.

Get someone to help you with the test. The more sites you get, the more accurate the test will be.

Here's the three point formula: For women: Db = 1.0994921 – (.0009929)(sum of three skin folds) + (.0000023)(sum of three skin folds^2) – (.0001392)(age) [/ QUOTE ] Yu amazing coming back with that technical, precise formula right after she asks. |

Could you possibly simplify this forumla? I'm really horrible with math, so I'm really confused by all of these numbers. What does the "^2" mean?
