Daily Meals:

Meal 1:
1/2 cup Raw Oatmeal
2 scoops Whey = 46 gr Protein
1 Multivitamin
1000 mg Vit C

Meal 2:
2 scoops MyXCel = 20 gr Carbs, 40 gr Pro, 4 gr Fat,
10gr Glutamine
1tbsp EFA Blend - 13.5 gr Fat

Meal 3:
6oz Canned Sockeye Salmon
2 slices Whole Grain Bread

Meal 4: (Pre workout)
4 oz Sirloin Steak
1 Cup Yams cubed
1/2 cup Brussel Spprouts
200 mcg Chromium

Meal 5: (post workout)
1 cup Kool Aid - 60 gr simple sugars
2 Scoops Whey - 46 gr Protein
1000mg Vit C
1 multivitamin
400 IU Vit E
10 gr Glutamine

Meal 6:
2 scoops MyXcel - 40gr Pro, 20 gr Carbs, 4 gr Fat, 10 gr Glutamine
1 tbsp EFA Blend

My aim is to hit 2500 cals per day, 40-40-20
I HAD planned on doing a 33-33-33 but it was too much fat for my liking. I haven't calculated this yet to see how close I am to 2500 cals. I think it's short but it should do.

Wow.....August 6th 2003 to today being May 11th 2004. No wonder I look like I do.

Ran into a friend of mine over the weekend. He started working out 3 months ago and the dude is a freak! I didn't think he looked that big (always over dressed) but he's 5'8, 225 lbs, his arms are about 19", his traps are enormous, and his chest is about 48"
Not much fat on him either.

It was a good thing to see though because I have a renewed desire to get bigger then him! LOL. I'm the competitive type and he was bragging a little too much for my liking.

Anyway.....did a few lifts last week and one hardcore workout to wake up the muscles and shake the DOMS that come with the end of the layoff so I'm ready to rock!
Tried working out last night but I had a HUGE headache. Tried to work throught it but my first heavy set on bench was extremely painful so I called it until today.

Should be keeping this thing updated from now on.

Thanks for reading.

Whoa! What a workout!
That was the single best workout I've had in over a year.
Over the last year or so I have been working out here and there but never getting that burning desire to lift more weight or got excited about the next workout. I used to be the most intense person I knew.....so much so that none of my friends wanted to workout with me. All that was gone until last night. The reason?......I was.......ALONE!

After years of working out alone I finally had a partner.....I thought that would be awesome....turns out I do better when I'm alone.

I hit that Intesnsity I've been missing and kicked some butt. Now I'm stoked for the next workout and can't wait to rock.

It's going to rock to get back into fighting shape!

Alright......end of week one.
Bodyweight is down 6 lbs and approx. 1 inch off the waist.
No idea of bf % because my Tanita has no Athletic mode so it's not even close to being nearly right.

I have calipers but don't get the right readings with them. I always get 15% or so but I know I have more fat then that on me.

Anyway.....was a great first week.....I felt awesome getting back into the swing seriously. my diet is going to be on hold until Wed because I have a TON of travelling to do with my son over the next 2 days and trying to get 6 meals in while taking care of a 4 month old boy by yourself is next to impossible.

Thanks for reading and I'll have more fantastic reporting to do next week.

Week 2......shot
I've got a cold bug hitting my lungs.

I'm one of those people that very rarely gets sick. I can usually watch people around me getting sick all year long but I finally got something and it's in my lungs so I don't think I can work out this week.

Woe is me.......

Oh well.......always next week.
