Default Erica\'s first journal...I WILL NOT QUIT

Wow I finally figured this out I think! Im really going to try and write in this thing to the best of my ability. And PLEASE give feedback because I know I probably am doing a lot of things wrong and/or maybe not pushing myself hard enough. I really want to lose inches and decrease body fat and for some reason I can't do it. Ive been trying forever! please help a fat girl out! lol Here's my stats right now later on I'll post my workout- the power at my gym went out today so I can't go until later! grrr i was mad! anyways.. here are my DISGUSTING stats (i will measure inches later what I find tape)

Age: 21
Height: 5'3 1/2"
Weight: 152 (Im real muscular so w/all the fat it's not pretty-but my friends say I just have a "soccer player" body which me SUCKS cuz i dont play soccer!)
Goal: 125

Ill start with my diet tommorrow. RIght now we have NO food in the house... and im not kidding when i say that. so my mom resorted to bringing home mcdonalds.enough said. BUT first time ive eaten fast food this summer so i feel "ok" with it. also i cant get to my gym tonight due to a car shortage-yes im 21 and live at home when im not at school and i feel like i live in a prison. but besides that.. today to get some physical fitness in my day I took my dog on a 20 min walk at a brisk pace. and I just got back from a 20 min. jog around my neighborhood. I felt good after it because ive been trying to work up my endurance and its the longest ive gone so far. i feel real good. i wanted to lift tonight but i wont have a car til about 1am and dunno if i wanna go lift then or not.. i think i need my sleep. who knows. i wanna rethank you all for looking at this and giving me advice and such-give it to me whether it be good, bad, or plain old ugly. be harsh if u need to. thanks everyone!

Here's what I've done/ate today so far:

200 mg. caffine 1 hr before work out

On empty stomach: Ran 10 min. at 5.0 mph
Walked 20 min. at 4.0-4.2 mph

Meal 1(post workout): 3 eggs scrambled (3 whites,1 yolk)
1/4 raw sliced mushrooms

Meal 2: 4 oz. turkey burger (no bun)
1.5 oz. munster cheese

During class: Few-bout 10- low fat better cheddar crackers
After class: 3 TBSP. peanut butter

Is it alright to do cardio during the day then go back and lift at night? Seems like thats the only way I have time to do things? Also, how do you guys get all these meals in?? I dont have time and when i do i end up making a big meal because im so starving and know I wont have time to have anything later. i know my eating is screwed up. ALso, is it bad to eat a lot of peanut butter? I love it and can sit there with the jar and just indulge when theres nothing else in the hosue. its a bad bad habit. im going shopping tommorrow...any suggestions to put in my shopping cart?!

i didnt have time to eat anything else..usually i eat a lot better... i think the peanut butter compensated for the calories i didnt eat in my regular meals.. it couldve been more than 3 tbsp. i kinda snacked on it while watching tv...

Default Erica\'s first journal!!!

Meal 1: 5 egg whites, 1 oz. munster cheese

Meal 2: BBQ chicken sandwich, 1/2 cup mashed potatos ( from KFC bad i know), small diet pepsi

snacks throughout the day: 3 TBSP. PB, whipped cream cheese, some pretzels

AT GYM:

walked 25 min. on treadmill speed varied from 4.0-4.2 mph (woulda ran but shin splints acting up again)

shoulder press 3x10x35
straight leg dead lift 3x8x65
lat. raises 2x8x10
then 10 min. ab workout

overall i know me eating is not good.. i dont know how to space things out into smaller meals and snacking is so hard to stop... my goals here are to decrease body fat. i dont wanna increase muscle mass that is why i dont lift so much. let me know how bad everything looks... what should i change for tommorrow?
