Hi everyone, I desperately need to get into shape - BADLY! I have two kids and cant seem to loose all this fat. i am very depressed at seeing my belly sit in my lap when i sit down. I would appreciate help in setting up a workout routine and menu plan.
I am now 162 with a 34 waist and a 39 gut. I want to weigh 130. I am very depressed and need help. I get very confused about what to do, how to do it and what to eat and how to loose the fat. i would like to burn the fat and get to building muscles. I am lucky to have a hubby who hates to see me miserable has been very helpful in buying me a home gym, elliptical and free weights but i dont know what to do with them! He even bought a lee haney book - but woa! it seems overwhelming. Any advise, critism, or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. First, I'd suggest reading each of the posts stuck to the top of this forum by Krypto. These have great information that made it a lot easier for me to understand what I needed to do. [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Hey girl-
We've ALL been there, whether that means losing bodyfat or building muscle. You've come to the BEST place to get good info. Read the sticky's as Gwin suggested, don't waste your money on potions and creams, and study the exercises at the top under the blue tab. No worries, we'll getcha started in the right direction. I second the 12 Weeks to Fat Burning diet. It is a relatively short, simple article with an easy to follow diet and workout program. To find out how to perform the exercises, read the workout section here or go to www.exrx.net and click on Weight Training, Female Exercise Map, then click on the part of the body you wanna work in the model's body. I dislike the articles at that site but it has a very complete list of animations that show exercises.
If you can afford it, buy a couple sessions with a trainer. He/She could help you work on your form, which is very important. |
