I would change up your split. I would have 2 double days ( workout twice a day)

Here is what i would do

Day 1
Morning
Chest/Tris

Evening
Shoulders/ Calves

Day 2
Rest

Day 3
Morning
Back/Biceps

Evening
Traps/Forearms/ Calves

Day 4
Rest

Day 5
Legs/Calves.

Work your abs at home on your days off.

Hey Chechkin I was just wondering why you are recommending the double days instead of his current split??

Man that would be awesome if i could pull it off. and i have bad calves that i don't want to overtrain.

I'll save that split, it might come in handy.

Why do you recommend double workouts?

THANKS!

Animal's Bicep Program:
Almost killed me I walked in the door drank some protien and basicly backed out when my head hit the pillow. I haven't slept this well in a long time.
The next day, I had trouble getting up.

I love this sport!

(this was week 1 of Animal's Bicep Blitz)

Default Leg day

Ok my coach was a little earlier this time so I did some decent leg work:

Squats (warmup)
110x12
110x12
110x12

120x12
120x12
120x12

leg extentions
70x12
70x12
70x12

No leg curl machine!

Squats
110x12 <no rest>
Heel raises
110x12

Squat/Heel raises 4 sets

Could I get an evaluation on this? I had trouble walking up the stairs to my next class (actually used a hand rail, i feel like an old man!) but I would apprieciate some feedback.

Default Re: Leg day

are u on a cut? cuz if u are im thinkint 12 is too many reps, and are all 6 sets of squats warmup?? cuz if it is thats way too many. warmup is just really lite weight to get the bloodflowing. the leg extensions look good n the squat is the same as ur warmup so iunno wuts going on there. im thinking u should do a one or two set warmup at a very lite weight prob bout 40-50lbs?? then do 4 heavier sets u can prob do like 135 or more im assumeing since u did like 10 sets of squats. then keep the legextenions n heel raises after extensions.
