Leg day... I guess it was okay.

I didn't complete all exercises because my legs started feeling like they were going to give out and turn to jelly.

I think the combination of being away from lifting for so long and then coming back with a new "routine" which includes higher reps and higher intensity is really kicking my butt this week. My body isn't used to this yet. I'm hoping its a good thing though.

I'm beginning to think maybe I should throw the 13-week workout idea out the window and commit my lifting to a mass-gaining workout instead since I do want to gain more muscle mass, but I also want to lose body fat and keep it low.

Didn't make it to the gym today since I could still barely walk normaly from Thurday's leg day. It was supposed to be cardio day/ab day, and I'm sure the cardio would have helped relieve some of the soreness and fatigue my legs are feeling today, but I thought taking it easy for today would probably be better.

I also cheated today.

Lunch was a tiny cheat. I had a small piece of cornbread, a small muffin and a small piece of this chocolate brownine thing from the salad bar called "Sweet Tomatoes" which was a great place. I also had some FF soup from there as well.

Then I came home and ate two turkey burgers, which weren't a cheat.

After a while I got hungry again and had some oatmeal with chocolate whey in it, which was also a non cheat.

Then after that, ate an apple while waiting for the pizza and breadsticks to get here.

At least I didn't cheat all day, which is definitely good.

Oh, does that make it go down easier? I was thinkin about puttin some whey in my oatmeal, but I didn't want it to be even more gross (if that's possible).

Also, MansonOzz and I get our whey from a place on the web, Clayton Nutrition. Even with the shipping it's still much cheaper than GNC. I love the Optimum Chocolate Mint and Double Rich Chocolate [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I've had Whey in my oatmeal its not bad actually.Dave told me he just has it as a shake but I actually like oatmeal so you can do it either way really,just make sure to mix it in after you warm up the oatmeal,that heat damages the protein.Sorry for trashing your journal bombflower!And good work!

Default finals... suck

I haven't seen the gym since Sunday, but with good enough reason:

I have finals next week and a lot of projects due for school, so I've decided to take this week off so I can focus on studying and getting everything in. Hopefully I can get in for a few hours Saturday and Sunday, but I don't think I'll return to regular lifting until next Wednesday, when I take my last final.

It's hard not being able to make it to the gym, but school comes first, especially for the next week.

I'm hoping studying my arse off this weekend will pay off and I'll get good grades.

I'm FINALLY getting back into the gym tomorrow. I take my last final tomorrow morning at 815 and get done at 930. Then I intend to come home and eat, then go running, then lift weights later in the afternoon (4ish).

Here are my PCF Rattios for today:
P:45% (687 cals)----\
C:37% (570 cals)-----TOTAL=1583 CALS
F:17% (264 cals)----/

Pretty close to 40/30/20, although I wish the 37 were more like 35.

I didn't cheat today! (Except for the orange I just ate, but that was better than diving into the cereal boxes!).

I also sucked on a few pieces of sugar free hard candies today, so that adds about 60 calories, nothing major. And had sugar free jello, but again, nothing major, so it wasn't worth inputing.

Anyways, here's my lifting plan for tomorrow (I'm starting the 13-week)

CHEST/BACK

Weight=120-125 (since I've been off), it's 117-120 when I'm not off of lifting/cardio

So, I didn't make it jogging. I got hungry, and my period finally decided to show up, which brought the horrible cramps right along with it. Instead, I ate my third meal, but I'm still going to make it to the gym tonight.

I plan to hopefully get some cardio in after lifting, even though I shouldn't do cardio after lifting, it will help relieve some of my cramps.

I'm just so bloated right now, it sucks.
