Hi Everyone,
My question is regarding the excellent article we got this month about post workout nutrition. It recommends consuming some simple carbs as soon as possible right after a weight lifting session; specifically stated trying to get some dextrose and maltodextrin (spelling???) I am wondeirng if anybody can suggest some foods that would be best consumed to take advantage of this window of opportunity? I've heard liquid forms of these nutrients can be taken, but I'm finding trouble finding these items in the health stores where I live (Manitoba). I was also hoping to find someting perhaps a bit more "cost efficient." I'm aware that we should be eating something that rates high on the Gylicemic Index. I've been eating 1/2 - 3/4 cup of puffed rice right now, and owuld love some further suggestion.......Thanks, Braidyn
