Hi Kiwi,
What show are you going to do? Do you have the same trainer for every show? I am training for my 1st show. Best of luck!

Hey thanks guys.

I have been really busy and have been travelling a bit - so haven;t logged in as much recently.

Things are going well.

Still aiming for the Nationals in Nov. and may enter some regional events which take place around the same time.

I think my muscle mass is bouncing back, so things are going well at present.

I have my same PT as last year - she is the right one for me.

Working out 4 times per week at present (all the heavy weights basic movements eg squats etc), plus cardio in the morning (45 mins week days and walking outside in the weekends).

Increasing my carbs has been important to help me grow - I have carbs at 4-5 meals, with low carb at night meal only.

I have just kicked in my first creatine cycle for the year - I love that stuff.

Haven't updated for a while - but making good progress.

Things have been busy, and alot of travel !

I am just coming to the end of my mass weights programme this week - which is a 3 day split which mixes up a whole lot of body parts. Alot of squats, deadlifts etc.

It has worked however.

I met with my PT today.

With carbs added at 4-5 meals, and this programme, I have actually lost body fat (currently 19.5% - which looks good on me), and have added 3.5kg of lean muscle mass over the past 5 weeks - that's around 7.7 lbs)

So I'm pleased.

I have a new programme to kick off with next week, focusing on a 4-day split.

Thanks guys - I'm pretty pleased myself.

After my comp. in Nov my body seized up for a while, but now it seems back in gear.

I also forgot to mention that I kicked in a creatine cycle over the past 4 weeks - and that has been good as well.

Overall my assessment is that my delts are looking stronger, I have a more defined sweep in my thighs (those dreaded squats do pay dividends) and can I say that my butt is sitting higher, rounder and looking more pretty.

I hope I can keep it up.

Kiwi Girl, it sounds like you are doing great! Congrats on your LBM gains and fat losses--what more could you ask for?

Good luck with your new program!

Hey SC and Tuf - great to hear from you both.

SC - LOL - Leg curls are great. Face down, it's like lying on little blow up mattress !

Kinda weird but nice and comfy !

No pain now. I had a checkup with the Doc and he is pleased with the surgery, although he wants to see me again at the end of the year just to check all is still sitting well despite my endevours in the gym (we do push those chest muscles more than the usual gals in the street!)

My new programme (starting next week) will really focus chest definition. So I will look good this year !
