What Shoes Do You Squat In?
I squat in Sketchers. Yeah, I know. That's why I want ideas for new shoes. My bro used to bb and he lifted in steel toed combat type boots (he dropped a weight really close to his foot once and didn't want to loose a toe if he did it again). But being a girl I don't want to look silly!

My asics runners...can't be bothered to go barefoot...don't wanna pay for special shoes. If I was to be serious about powerlifting maybe, but I really don't don't think I'll be going that route...those powerlifter ladies, not my style.

i squat in Emerica's and dl in globe's, i've gone the barefoot route as well, but, right now, that is how it is for me

Ooooh it can be quite dangerous to work out with bare feet......
In the summer I'm a bare feet moron loving to keep my little rosy feet free from the prisoning of the shoes BUT -not last summer but the summer before, I was doing one arm dumbbell rowing and by stupid accident I hit my little poor innocent toe against the bench.... Aauuuhh I tell you a broken toe is a real pain in the neck!!! (and wearing only socks will just give you big risk of sliding under the barbell!) Good work out shoes? Shoes with no heel (we are not doing an aerobic class there!) and which are well closed around the feet (hmmmm just try to do lunges with half open shoes!!)

that reminds me, I need to buy a new paitr of shoes...the ones I currebtly have SUCK ! I think they're worn out or something.
Since my feet are so small.....i need to buy my bloddy shoes from the kids section. I kow that Nike TOWN sells womens shows in my size....but sometimes in the suburbs they don't go any lower than a size 6 and I'm a size 5! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] I currently have NEW BALANCE shoes, but....don't like them too much I guess cause i bought them from the ....ahem.....kids dept...... [img]/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] The best shows I had were Reebok/Nike....im going to be buying new shoes soon as I need it ! I've noticed that when I do calf raises....these shoes don't let you flex the foot as much ! I like the new styles Nike has.....they look cool ! i squat in Otomix ~ Versa Trainer Pro's
by far the best shoe for squatting in that i've ever worn. I've always worn Otomix, have 2 other pair, but these are much improved from anything else they have. I only do legs in them, and they were worth the investment.
