Oh, I think this is one to ask your OBGYN about.
I think (very) pregnant women are supposed to do 30 min of moderate exercise everyday, like walking or water exercise. |

Actually it depends on what month she's in.
A general rule is no more jumping, hard ab exercises or HIIT. Now yes it would be a very good idea to ask your doc as well.

Assuming she was a regular exerciser prior to her pregnancy, the main thing is that she can usually continue her normal exercise routine, bearing in mind she needs to keep her heart rate lower and to avoid overheating (so keep drinking lots of water and don't exercise in a really warm humid place. Obviously exercises where she would be lying flat on her stomach would be contraindicated for obvious reasons.....
As an experienced gym user she should continue at a lower level (without taking it to silly extremes) and listen to her body. I know lots of women who have exercised all the way up to giving birth (some were also doing some fairly serious karate training .... no contact obviously) However.... if she were not a regular gym user/exerciser now is not the time to start any mad training.... walking and swimming would be the best options in that case... Hope this is of help |

Being a mother of 2, the advice I have is that she ask her doctor. Every woman is different, and while walking may be good for some pregnant woemn, it's not good for ALL pregnant women. Her doctor knows her individual situation best and can give the better advice

I totally agree with dragonzeye. Her best bet is to talk to her doctor.

Ask your doctor. The answer is sometimes "none" but it depends on the woman.
