Posted by: fortysix:
congrats...is there a new goal now?
13 1/4?

Eh, don't know really. I just want to be proportionate. And I just enjoy seeing that I'm still making progress, still gaining muscle and strength, that's all!
Posted by: enderwigginout:
I saw your pics from July, awesome! I do have one question, how do you know how and where to measure yourself, is there an article on that? Sozzy for the stupid newbie question, but I'm going to start the 12 wk burning fat workout and I want to measure myself all over so I can chart my progress later! Thanks, Ender And a big congrats on reaching your goal!

You just measure around the biggest circumference. So I made a muscle and had hubby measure around the biggest portion, around the peak of the bicep. Same goes for other body parts like the quads, you measure around the thickest or biggest around part.
Posted by: Bladezz33:
Congrats! What finally did it? Supersets?? *********** Bladezz

Nope. My biceps I've never had a problem with them growing or getting stronger. I don't even have to train them to failure and they seem to gain strength and size. My problem was/is my triceps. Could not get those buggers to grow for the life of me! So what I finally did, was cut out all the isolation exercises I was doing on them and for the past couple months, I've only been doing the mass building type exercises on my triceps. So I do dips, weighted dips, behind the back dips off a bench, close grip (hands in a triangle) type pushups, and close grip bench press. For the most part I haven't been doing supersets and drop sets. Every once in a while I will but definitely not every workout. Sometimes I'll do a drop set on close grip bench press and sometimes I'll superset the last two sets of close grip bench with behind the back dips. Just not often enough that I would say that those shocking methods are what did it. I would just say switching to all mass building exercising AND EATING enough is what has been working.
