Does this 13 weeks to hardcore fat burning apply to women also...or does a womans prgram need to be "tweaked" in any way to get the optimal effect????

I'm not doing the diet really, but I'm doing the 12 week fat burning workout. It's insane! I've never felt so amazing after a workout...and never felt so sore the day after.
Next on my list is the 13 week hardcore fat burning workout...just reading it scares the crap outta me! Gotta do it! [img]/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] |

Yes. It will get you ripped to shreds.
The program is infallable if you do it how it says. THe diet is literally set up to use fat for energy! It works, and the calorie cycling helps you maintain your sanity. Also, you'll learn a lot about insulin sensitivity which is the key factor to weight loss and gain.

OldSchool, which of Jacobs workout programs do you recommend for me, 42 F, lifting consistantly for 11 months,

Start with the 12 week one...it's less complicated (in fact, it's not complicated at all). I have never gained so much muscle following anything else. The workout really makes you realize just how physically powerful you can be. I am lifting more than I ever thought I could and I continue to get stronger and stronger every week! Elle, I think I did and you are lifting very heavy. I am having someone at the gym, help me with my 1 rep max, because I have never done that, and then will do the pyramid. So the 10, 8, 6, do you know basically what % that would be of your one rep max. Or do you just work to failure.

I've never done my max on anything...I'd be curious to find out one day though!
I work to failure at every set...sometimes I don't achieve it though. Either I've gone a touch too light or I've failed even before I've finished the set. Now at the end of week 5, I'm getting to know myself pretty well and I hit failure most of the time... ![]() |
