Ever since I made up my mind to go back to the gym and start working out, I have been on the right track and have seen lots and lots of changes in my body, all except for one area. ABS. I saw all these changes and started to do all this cardio and noticed that when I put my clothes on I still look kinda fat (in certain clothing).
I have deduced that I gave all the attention to my arms and legs and forgot about my mid section. I did some ab excersises like once a week but I was told that I should leave my ABS for last, so I did. The problem now is that I am so afraid that it will hurt so much to get my ABS in order. As I continue to do Cardio and do the AB excersises, I know that some people like that feeling (pain) that they get after working out ABS, I don't like that feeling. I guess I just have to get used to it if I want to accomplish this feat, huh? Any words of encouragement or any kind of tricks for this excersise. Need some help badly |

Well, as they say "No pain, No gain!"...
You just gotta keep at it! When you get to the point where you see improvements, trust me, you'll start loving that sore feeling! Check out some of the ab routines on this site...I'm doing the 12 week fat burning program. I'm on week 3 and I've lost an inch on my lower abs already! Hi-
Abs are not a trouble spot for me (my "blegs" are) so I tend to neglect them; however, I recently started the "8 Weeks to Awesome Abs" routine on this site and am really getting sore. http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/magaz...imalsabfaq.htm It only takes maybe 15 min, 3 times a week. You will need ankle weights. |

i guess you just have to deal with the pain. the burn you get in ur abs is a killer, which is one reason i didnt start training abs till recently. just grit your teeth and do it. once you see results youll begin to enjoy the feeling, kinda.

I just started working on my abs two weeks ago. I have trouble but I do it. They aren't as sore as I thought they would be the next day, is that typical? To burn while you do them and a little sore up to a day later?
