Default body building

ok so i was thinking about doing this body buidling competition in a few months. its an annual thing at our school-kinda like a fundraiser and people compete in it. thing is i dont know the first thing in going about this. i need to drop a lot of fat first then start building muscle. main thing is losing fat. how wo uld be the best way of going about this? im totally lost here. thanks guys

check out jw's 13 week to fat loss diet and workout plan. that is an excellent start.

Some good info here.
Remember, everyone does something different in their contest prep. I've done a similar plan, but am currently trying something completely different.
You have to go with what works best for you, but the premise of this first article as far as training/cardio and so forth is a good starting point.
