Hi! I'm having my body fat tested w/ calipers at the gym tomorrow (I don't trust myself to get it quite right). Any tips? I plan on going on a pretty empty stomach, first thing in the a.m. But, any additional info about testing and best time/approach, etc. would be great. Thanks!

Morning time would probably be best. I've found that holding water affects the readings, usually making them higher and in the morning is when you are gonna be holding the least water.
Oh, and make sure you don't put any lotion on, makes it difficult to grab if you do. That's all I can think of, pretty simple test really and the only thing I can think of that would affect the readings is if you're holding water. |

Thanks! That's what I figured water-wise. Good tip on the lotion, I wouldn't have thought of that!
